G.M. Shahid is a senior banking and financial services professional with extensive leadership experience across branch banking, regional management, financial operations, credit administration, compliance, and executive-level business strategy.
He is currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at QPaisa Pay Private Limited since 2022 and is also assisting “A Mudarbaha” as Acting President and CEO during its take-over process. His reporting line includes the Chairman and the Bank Board, reflecting his involvement in high-level institutional governance and strategic decision-making.
Over the course of his career, he has held several senior leadership roles, including Group Chief Executive Officer at OMNI Academy under MHSJ Consulting Group, Director on the Board of First Islamic Microfinance Institution in Ghana, and General Manager / Senior Vice President at MCB Bank, where he managed over 100 branches across the Multan and Bahawalpur areas.
